Brashear softball hosted LaPlata Friday night. The Bulldogs scored single runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd innings before pushing across 4 in the 4th to take a commanding lead. Brashear battled back with 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th, but the Tiger rally fell short as LaPlata hung on for a 9-6 win. Hannah Reeves and Hannah Grissom both had 2 hits for Brashear, with Tanna Garlock, Aubrey Bleything, Alexa Higgins, and Callie Althide also having hits. Averi Acton got the start for Brashear.
